THE CHALLENGE: What Our Client Needed
Established over 80 years ago, Artistic Frame is one of the largest suppliers of quality carved wood chair frames in the country. Primarily selling to the trade, Artistic Frame was seeking a website that would act as an online showroom for their collection of high-end quality seating products.
OUR STRATEGY: What Bottom Line Did
The main challenge was understanding how the site would be used by different types of visitors, including designers, merchants and customers. We worked with Artistic Frame to create the sophisticated image that would match the high-end furniture the company produces, with a strong emphasis placed on clear navigation and a user-friendly interface. Due to the importance of sales to the trade, the website also plays an important role in engaging designers with a set of useful and exciting features and tools just for them. A final important component of this project was optimizing the client’s specialized work flow, by integrating CRM, accounting and sales components in order to help Artistic better serve their clients.
THE RESULT: How The Client Benefited
Beauty and brains. Form and functionality. Much like the company’s physical Manhattan showroom and stunning print catalog (and the chairs and sofas themselves), the website, which is set to launch in the first quarter of 2008, is aesthetically beautiful, easy to navigate and easy to operate.
