CLIENT
Mesivtha Tifereth Jerusalem / Yeshiva of Staten Island
CAMPAIGN
Designing a 224-page Book
THE CHALLENGE: What Our Client Needed
Today, in a world brimming with vibrant Torah
institutions, it is difficult to imagine or recall a time when the future of Orthodox Judaism in America looked bleak. In 1907, when Mesivtha Tifereth Jerusalem—the yeshiva synonymous with Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, zt”l—opened its doors, it was revolutionary. It was with some trepidation that we accepted the responsibility of capturing this extraordinary
institution in a commemorative hardcover book.
OUR STRATEGY: What Bottom Line Did
With torrents of raw material—text, photos, newspaper articles and more—pouring in on a daily basis and a tight deadline until the dinner, developing an organized chapter outline and page structure was urgent and essential. The second challenge was to create a design and layout to maximize the impact of the incredible archive of historical materials, from 1907 to the present.
THE RESULT: How The Client Benefited
Presented at the 100th Anniversary Dinner, the response to the book was emotional and electric. Mesivtha
Tifereth Jerusalem and Rabbi Moshe
Feinstein are beloved by generations. Their impact on our lives is incalculable. This volume reminds us why. |
