CLIENT
Catskill Homeowner’s Association
CAMPAIGN
Absentee Ballot Campaign
THE CHALLENGE: What Our Client Needed
The Catskill Homeowner’s Association is a coalition of homeowners with residences in upstate New York. Fed up with high taxes, crumbling roads, and intrusive zoning regulations, the group launched an absentee voter drive to get out the vote.
OUR STRATEGY: What Bottom Line Did
Bottom Line worked with the client to develop effective tactics and a message. The message followed the KISS principal – Keep It Simple, Stupid – making the connection between voting in the upcoming election and the impact on voter’s day-to-day lives. We produced a GOTV (Get Out the Vote) designed to educate homeowners about the issues, identify ways they could make a difference
and persuade them to
get involved.
THE RESULT: How The Client Benefited
Out of the approximately 1,600 registered voters that were contacted, over 25% voted and all the candidates endorsed by Catskill Homeowner’s Association were elected,
thanks to their support. |
