Mesivta Ateres Yaakov

Rabbi Yaffe's 25th Anniversary Dinner Campaign

Mesivta Ateres Yaakov has been a staple in the Five Towns since 1987. For the last 25 years, the Mesivta has been guided by Rabbi Mordechai Yaffe, shlit"a, a dedicated mechanech who has graduated over 1,000 talmidim, each one carrying forward an education built on genuine care, high standards, and a Rosh HaYeshiva who envisioned a bright future for each one. From a groundbreaking technology program to a culture of warmth that follows talmidim long after they leave the building, Mesivta Ateres Yaakov has become its own unique Mesivta with a very proud parent body and alumni network.

Vision

Twenty-five years of Rabbi Yaffe's leadership is worth marking. But the Mesivta didn't want a dinner that felt like a highlight reel. They wanted something that captured Rabbi Yaffe’s vision, highlighting the success of the Mesivta today, while looking forward to doubling down on the vision for the future ahead. BLMG worked closely with the Mesivta to develop the full campaign from the ground up: the name, the look, the story, and every piece of collateral that would carry it from the first save-the-date to the array of signage and the dinner celebration event.

STRATEGY

The campaign needed an idea strong enough to hold everything together. The theme A Vision Realized, was a bold statement of fact. Rabbi Yaffe knew from the get go what he wanted to build and today that vision has been clearly realized. Paired with 25Years of Leadership, it gave every piece of the campaign a through-line that honored Rabbi Yaffe's record without turning the evening into a retrospective or a retirement party.

Before a single ad went to press, BLMG's team was on-site at the yeshiva, photographing, filming, and capturing the people and places that make Mesivta Ateres Yaakov what it is.  From there, the creative ran wide. Five print ads, three distinct concepts plus final-week adaptations, placed across targeted media. Four lots of ad blank packages, each with its own letter, design, and honoree signature. A full invitation suite. Website banners. Journal cover and template. A dais banner, podium sign, and four additional event banners. Everything built and executed in-house, with multiple additional rounds of revision included at no extra cost.

The campaign also introduced a special Visionary Society geared towards inducting members who wish to support the vision for the future. The Mesivta also received access to BLMG's Hatch.ai platform, giving their development team the donor intelligence to build stronger, longer relationships with key supporters well past the dinner itself.

BOTTOM LINE

On May 11, 2026, The Sands Atlantic Beach filled with talmidim, alumni, parents, rabbonim, and community leaders. Elected officials sent citations. And Rabbi Yaffe, visibly moved by a room full of people whose lives he had touched, spoke about the privilege of watching over 1,000 talmidim grow into the men they became. He closed the evening the way he has guided his talmidim for 25 years: pursue your dreams, trust in Hashem, and go change the world.

Twenty-five years of vision, realized. BLMG was proud tobe part of it
